CompTIA Casp certification was updated 4th quarter 2021 from version 003 to 004. The previous CASP+ exam objectives have been updated to be more relevant to cyber-security professionals. There is more emphasis on understanding security architecture and delivering robust engineered solutions. Governance, risk and compliance skills are now heavily tested, so you will need to understand GDPR, PCI-DSS and COPPA compliance. You will need to understand how to assess an enterprise’s cybersecurity readiness using vulnerability assessment tools and techniques. The new exam has more emphasis on leadership skills, allowing teams to design, troubleshoot and roll-out enterprise-wide cybersecurity solutions.
